Defense Engineering via NX PLM Design and Dynamic Response
M.V. Associates utulizes cutting edge NX design and FEA analysis software for the Defense Industry. Modules include : NX Nastran; NX Dynamic Response; NX Non-Linear; NX CAM. Dynamic response capabilities play a key role in various industries such as assessing passenger comfort in aircraft and automobiles under different operating conditions; determining whether engine frequencies or tire excitations from the road suface will adversely affect responses at other areas of a

The VARIAXIS i-700 features high-speed, high-accuracy performance and an extremely large machining area. High-efficiency machining thanks to the No.40 12000 rpm spindle and 60000 mm/min (2362 IPM) rapid traverse rate for the X-and Y-axes and 56000 mm/min (2205 IPM) for the Z-axis.
Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV)
The pre-configured typical three-component (3D) LDV system is used to get all three components of velocity, simultaneously. Applications include wind tunnels, turbulence measurements, water channels, non-contact velocity measurements, and measurements in combustion flame, rotating machinery.

The Controlled Goods Program (CGP) is an industrial security program that is authorized by the Defence Production Act (DPA).
The Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD) administers the CGP to prevent the proliferation of tactical and strategic assets and build up Canada’s defence trade controls. Public Works and Government Services Canada is the federal agency responsible for this program. The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada is the authority that can make a determination as to what is and what is not a Controlled Goods and/or Controlled Technology. The University of Ottawa registered with the program since October 30, 2009.
